“ Alright, God told me what to get and I listened. Man, was it amazing to me I ordered the brisket sandwich plate with green beans and onion rings. Wooh. I mean, the sides alone were like my pastor says, "gimme two claps and a Rick Flare". So, the green beans are the flat Italian kind, fyi. Very flavorful. They are cooked with meat, which I don't mind, but if you're vegan, then pass. But what you don't want to pass on, is the onion rings. They are hand battered and fried and taste like they're battered in something akin to hush puppy batter, and it's pure heaven in my mouth. Now, I usually like thin onion rings, these are thick, but I loved them sooo much. I've been daydreaming about them since my visit last week...sigh...onion rings, where for art thou. Candidly, I was picking up the green beans with my hand while I was driving, they taste so good...before I got my self control working again and waited untili got stopped and grabbed a fork. So good. I love the brisket sandwich. Now it's chunks, not tiny shreds...so if you're picky, have your momma pull the meat off and shred it for ya. It's worth it, to try it. Next time, I'll order with extra sauce on it and in a separate container, as the bean juice got my bun soggy while I was drivin'. Probably all my doing. But just in case, I'm going to get them in seperate containers next time. I came on a recommendation from my favorite baristas, and it definitely was worth it. I am hoping to get to come back soon and get something for my momma and see how she enjoys it, and try a new dish for myself. Reasonably priced, great staff, clean restaurant, exceptional food. We ordered brisket, chicken, pulled pork, sausage, nachos, beans, and slaw. Oh, and Bart's spicy BBQ sauce is lip lickin' good! It's more of a to go place than a dine in, but there was plenty of room for our large group, a table full of teens, and A LOT of people waiting for their food. Excellent! ”
